The City Planning Labs. (CPL) project aimed at developing technical capacity at the city level to provide reliable analytic support for city planning as well as policy and infrastructure decisions. CPL expected to build up technical and institutional capacity in city authorites and regulatory agencies to produce reliable and up-to-date data about the cities, well-informed plans and effective public investments. Spatial analytics were developed in collaboration with a team of city appointed counterparts by using the city specific data in urban growth analysis, accessibility analysis, and slum survey and analysis.
