Chatura Mendis

Lavanga joined the Geoinformatics Center as a Research Associate in November 2020. He has a Master’s degree in industrial and Manufacturing Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Mechatronics Engineering with a specialization in Industrial automation, machine designing, and additive manufacturing from the Asian Institute of Technology. Currently, he is working on real-time standalone monitoring system development, UAV development for long-range applications and IoT based applications.
