Participants of UNESCAP Geo-DRM EGM Visit GIC

Participants who attended the Expert Group Meeting of the Geo-referenced Information Systems for Disaster Risk Management (Geo-DRM) Project visited Geoinformatics Center (GIC), AIT on 25th April 2014. The EGM was held from 23-25 April 2014. This is an UNESCAP sponsored project and Geoinformatics Center is working as a consultant for this project.

After attending two days meeting at UNESCAP, Bangkok, the group made a technical visit to Asian Institute of Technology. First the group visited GIC and then to RS&GIS Feild of Study. There were participants from Bhutan, Cambodia, Cook Islands, Fiji, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines and Thailand.
