Team from KKC visits GIC

A team from Kokusai Kogyo Company Limited (KKC), Japan visited Geoinformatics Center (GIC), AIT on 24th October 2014 in order to exchange research experiences of the two institutes. This was the second time a team from KKC visited GIC to strengthen the research collaborations.

Prof. Shunji Murai, Board Chair of GIC and Prof. Kazuo Yamamoto, VP Resource Development, AIT attended the opening ceremony. Prof. Murai made an interesting presentation about his new finding to predict earthquakes using GNSS data. Scientists from both institutes made presentations sharing their research experiences during the day.
