GIC KKC Workshop 2015

Geoinformatics Center (GIC) of Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and Kokusai Kogyo Company Limited (KKC)- Japan, conducted a workshop on 3rd November 2015 to further strengthen their research collaborations. This was the third consecative year that the two organizations held this collaborative event.

Prof. Kazuo Yamamoto, VP Resource Development in AIT was the chief guest of this event. Prof. Shunji Murai, the key person behind this useful research collaboration, also attended the workshop and delivered a very useful talk about predicting earthquakes from GNSS data. The researchers from both institutes presented their research work during the day.
