The visit is part of the training program, namely “2024 International Leadership Training Program for Lancang-Mekong River Young Professionals in Water Sciences” which cordially organized by the Hohai University and the Asian Institute of Technology. The visit established upon the conferment for the study tour program in the training.
The prospective outcomes of the training are as follows:
- Provide young researchers and students with state-of-the-art research and knowledge practiced in the Lancang-Mekong region.
- Inspire research, collaboration and innovation among young students and faculty.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing Lancang-Mekong collaborations in addressing water-related challenges.
- Encourage cross-sectoral approaches that integrate science, technology, policy, and community engagement.
- Facilitate networking and knowledge exchange among participants.
