Sentinel Asia JAXA Mini Project 2015-16 Phase I – Indonesia

Geoinformatics Center (GIC) conducted a workshop on Utilization of Remote Sensing and GIS for Landslide Monitoring on 28th September, 2015 as part of JAXA sponsored Mini Project, 2015 (Phase I). It was held in National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN), Jakarta, Indonesia. Followed by workshop, discussion was conducted to collect data from local organizations and, to finalize methodology and the study area for the analysis.

There were about 40 participants to the workshop from various agencies including National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN), Badan Informasi Geospasial (BIG), Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB), Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Agency For The Assessment And Application Of Technology (BPPT), The Indonesian Institute of Science (LIPI), Indonesian Agency for Meteorological, Climatological and Geophysics (BMKG), Ministry of Public Works (PU), Kementerian Kehutanan Republik Indonesia (KLHK) and AHA Center.
