Profiles
Salsa joined GIC in September 2024. She has a background in geoinformation science, geospatial analysis and database management, as well as cartography. Her thesis revolved around multi-hazard modeling and interaction, as well as risk assessment between volcanic eruption and tropical cyclone in Saint Vincent, the Caribbean. Her background and interest bring her to projects related to the application of GIS and Remote Sensing for disaster management and multi-hazard training in GIC.

- 2024 – M.Sc. in Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation, Specialization in Natural Hazards and Disaster Risk Reduction, ITC, University of Twente, the Netherlands.
- 2021 – B.Eng. in Geodetic Engineering, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia.
