Educational Visit of Malaysian University Professors
A delegation of nine university professors and lectures from two public universities (Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) and Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia) visited Geoinformatics Center (GIC), AIT on 14th December 2015. The group was headed by Professor Ku Ruhana from UUM.
The purpose of the visit was to learn more about the research work at GIC related to flood modeling, flood forecasting and flood management. The possibilities of future collaborations were also discussed during the discussion between the delegates and the director of GIC, Dr. Lal Samarakoon.
