Implementation of Geo-referenced Information Systems for Disaster Risk Management

Geoinformatics Center (GIC) conducted a training program to provide technical assistance for implementing Geo-referenced Information Systems for Disaster Risk Management (Geo-DRM) from 28th October to 1st November at GIC of Asian Institute of Technology.

The program was jointly organized by Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) and Geo-informatics center (GIC) at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), in partnership with the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR), Asia Pacific Office, Bangkok. Five participants each from Afghanistan and Nepal attended this 1 week training program.
