Research Collaboration Meeting between GIC and RESTEC

Geoinformatics Center (GIC) of Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and Remote Sensing Technology Center (RESTEC), Japan, conducted a workshop on 27th January 2016 to share their project experiences and to identify the possible ways for future collaborations. Prof. Yamamoto, VP Resource Development in AIT attended as the chief guest of this event. It was a great honor to have Mr. Kaname Ikeda, the President of RESTEC also in this event.

The researchers from both institutes presented their project and research experiences. At the end of the day, Prof. Yamamoto and Mr. Kaname Ikeda signed a document and mutually agreed to exchange information regarding applications such as Disaster, Agriculture, Infrastructure management, Forest fire, IT and Training.
