Sentinel Asia JAXA Mini Project 2015-16 Phase III – Indonesia

Geoinformatics Center (GIC) of Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) conducted a final workshop for disseminating results of the Sentinel Asia Mini Project on the “Application of Remote Sensing and GIS for landslide mapping and modeling in Indonesia”. The program was the final phase (Phase III) of the Mini Project 2015-2016 in Indonesia, sponsored by JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency). The workshop was jointly organized with the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN) and the National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB) of Indonesia.

The workshop was held at LAPAN, Jakarta on 12th February 2016. Twenty-two participants from different agencies including LAPAN, BNPB, and Centre for Volcanology and Disaster Hazard Mitigation (PVMBG) joined the workshop.
