The goal of this project is to strengthen the capacities of the governments in the Caribbean region to assess and develop landslide and flood hazard hand risk information. Specific objectives are: 1) Development of a methodological framework for the generation and application of landslide and flood hazards and risks information required for DRM to be documented in a handbook 2) Implementation of national- level hazard mapping studies to test and refine the methodological framework 3) Compilation and creation of data to support the implementation of national-level hazard mapping studies; and 4) Capacity building in the application of the methodological framework.
